LEXUS Vehicle Service Warning Indicators

The warning lights on your dashboard are a simple way for your vehicle to let you know when it needs attention. Some lights are very common - such as a low fuel light - while other lights indicate more serious problems. Our LEXUS dealership addresses all of these concerns for you when you bring your LEXUS in for service.

Airbag Fault

Airbag Fault

The airbag fault light lets you know that something is amiss with your airbag system. The restraint system activates in the event of a collision. If it's activated even when there is no collision, you can return to us to investigate the issue.

Low Fuel Level Warning Light

Low Fuel Level Warning Light

Always the most common light of all, the low fuel level warning light tells you to re-fuel your vehicle. A simple stop at a gas station should fix the issue.

Oil Pressure Warning Light

Oil Pressure Warning Light

A healthy level of oil keeps your vehicle's most important components lubricated. If your Lexus gets low on oil, this light may come on. No worries. Check your oil levels and refill, or if you find it's not low at all, call us to investigate the light.

Service Vehicle Soon

Service Vehicle Soon

Every few thousand miles, your vehicle may need something like a tire rotation or oil change. Your Service Vehicle Soon light tells you it's time to schedule maintenance.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System

TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)

Tires that don't have enough air in them cause driving errors and instability on the road. If your tires become low on air, this light lets you know to inflate them.

Slip Indicator

Slip Indicator

The Vehicle Stability Control System and Traction Control system improve your stability on the road, even when the road is wet or icy. If this system malfunctions, you may see this light.

Charging System Warning Light

Charging System Warning Light

When a battery or other electrical component of your vehicle is damaged or malfunctioning, this light may come on. Sometimes it's a false alarm, and we need to reset the light at our dealership.

Brake System

Brake System

A car that can't stop is a lot more dangerous than a car that won't start, so if you see the brake light, please contact us immediately for service. It could mean that your brakes are going out.

Open Door Warning Light

Open Door Warning Light

Opened car doors activate this light. Check your doors to ensure that they're closed. Once they're all shut, this light should go off.

Coolant Level Warning

Coolant Level Warning

Coolant prevents your engine from overheating. If this light comes on, refill your coolant right away. If you don't, it could badly damage your engine. If you feel uncomfortable changing your coolant yourself, just call our dealership to schedule a quick appointment.
