On Aug 9, Lexus and Georgia Tech Athletics announced a multi-year partnership making Lexus the Official Luxury Vehicle of Georgia Tech Athletics. The director of athletics, Todd Stanbury, noted how the two organizations shared values grounded in uninhibited performance, relentless innovation and providing an exceptional customer experience. Stanbury believes the partnership between Lexus and Georgia Tech is a natural fit.
Shared Values

According to Sam Wintermyer, General Manager of the Lexus Southern Area, Lexus is proud to partner with such a respected and well-known athletics program. Wintermyer noted that the passion for bringing fans to Georgia Tech’s stands is the same passion inspiring Lexus to create and design unforgettable experiences for customers.
Lexus on Campus
Lexus will now have a substantial presence as the Official Luxury Vehicle of Georgia Tech Athletics at home events and venues. The premium seating at the south end zone of Bobby Stadium will be renamed from Tech Terrace to the Lexus Deck. The new deck will feature an elevated Lexus vehicle display visible to everyone in the stadium. The Callaway Club at Carnish Pavillion is also being renamed to become the Callaway Club presented by Lexus.
The Partnership
Additional aspects of the partnership include exclusive benefits for Lexus owners and vehicle displays outside of McCarnish Pavilion and Bobby Stadium. The partnership was facilitated by Legends, a premium experience company that has been managing multimedia rights and corporate partnerships for Georgia Tech since 2021. The senior vice-president at Legends noted that the GeorgiaTech-Lexus partnership demonstrates how passion, relentless innovation, and inspired ideas are critical to success for both brands.
