Lexus has long been known for innovation, combining luxury, safety, and sleek design. The brand’s vehicles are celebrated for their refined styling and upscale interiors. Recently, Lexus took part in the NYCxDESIGN festival, unveiling its Ambiance display—an exhibit dedicated to showcasing the brand’s most iconic design themes.
About Lexus Ambiance
Lexus introduced its Ambiance display during the NYCxDESIGN festival in May 2025. The installation was located at Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens, a venue known for remarkable public art and design experiences. The exhibit included interactive features and highlighted Lexus’s advanced design concepts. It also incorporated work from artist Nick Thomm, whose bold and modern visuals use dynamic lighting to create a striking aesthetic.
The Ambiance display holds significance for Lexus in many ways. It allowed the brand to present its innovative styling and standout vehicles to a larger audience. It also helped Lexus connect more deeply with the design community, opening the door to future collaborations with creative professionals who can further elevate the brand’s visual identity.
Lexus LC 500
As part of the festival, Lexus showcased a variety of vehicles to reflect its forward-thinking design approach. Among them was the Lexus LC 500, a stunning convertible designed by Nick Thomm. With a design that blends sportiness and elegance on the exterior and a cabin filled with luxurious materials, the LC 500 makes a lasting impression. Lexus amplified the experience by setting the vehicle against a dazzling light-filled backdrop.
Lexus GX 550
Also on display was the Lexus GX 550, a three-row luxury SUV known for its strong presence and off-road capability. It features a bold exterior design and a refined interior, and was showcased within a vibrant light installation that enhanced its commanding style.
