Specs at a Glance

The Lexus UX 200 is an extra-small luxury SUV with a big personality. The UX 200 only gets minor changes for 2021, including more standard advanced safety technology, which builds on an already-impressive safety package that earned the UX 200 bonus points from consumers and critics to start with. The UX 200 also stands apart from its competitors for its exceptional fuel economy, sporty drive, and maneuverable design that makes it great to drive in tight spaces. The UX 200 comes in several trims, including the base 200 and the Luxury, which tops the line.

The entire UX 200 lineup shares the same engine, which is a 2.0L with four cylinders. Power output is the same for the base model and the Luxury, about 170 HP and just over 150 LB-FT in torque. The engine powering both trims runs on gasoline, but you can order the UX as a hybrid as well. The base and Luxury have an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

The base and Luxury trims of the UX 200 have a simultaneously sporty and glamorous appearance. Chrome touches and a contoured exterior give the UX 200 a dynamic and intriguing design. LED headlights are standard for the base trim level. Some additional features are added for the Luxury, including larger 18-inch wheels with a unique appearance and a hands-free liftgate. The Luxury also has a sport-tuned suspension.

Along with LED headlights, you'll get LED fog lights with this trim level as well. Noise-reducing windows in front translate to a quieter ride. Rain-sensing windshield wipers included on the Luxury trim are a welcome exterior safety aid if you're driving in inclement weather.

Numerous features are included with the UX 200. The base-level gets a seven-inch infotainment system and power-adjustable front seats. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are also included, and you can enjoy greater connectivity with the built-in WiFi hotspot. The base trim has a six-speaker audio system. The Luxury trim has some added features, including heat and ventilation for the two seats in front. It also gets a heated wheel for more comfortable cold-weather driving. Wireless phone charging is standard, and you'll get an enhanced infotainment system with a 10.3-inch display and navigation. The top trim adds additional safety components, including automatic emergency braking and parking sensors.
